Where can I buy a Birthday Cake?

Hi. I'm taking my girlfriend on our first holiday abroad as a couple at the start of September, it's also her birthday present from me. We arrive on the 4th and her birthday is the 5th. I'd like to be able to get her a cake but I haven't got a clue where to even start looking for one for her whilst we are out there. If anyone has any recommendations I'd really appreciate it thanks. I'm not fluent in Spanish and I'm aware this could be a slight problem if there are any bakeries that could help.

If you have a decent supermarket nearby you could probably buy a cake from there. The Spanish cakes are very nice , a bit different to ours as they are more like a creamy gateau in texture but they usually have some attractive iced cakes in the cool cabinets.
