It depends what you want out of life! To me, Ca'lan Porter is very oriented towards the British holidaymaker. It was also one of the first places to be developed and thus is showing signs of age. I personally prefer to look for something that is more typically Menorcan/Spanish. Each to his own. Not sure what to say about the bus system: it certainly was very patchy up our end of the island but seems to have improved now. We just use a car as it's more convenient.
