We’re arriving in Punta Prima 10 July. Our villa owner has said all the restaurants are open.  Also the supermarket and pharmacy. Also the beach. All except one of the hotels are closed though and won’t be opening until next year.

Restaurants in Addaia are open as is the Arenal beach. We have certain pool restrictions on our Comunidad but otherwise it's all looking hopeful. We have flights for 23rd.

We arrived in Punta Prima on 10 July. There are currently no direct flights to Menorca so we flew BA to Palma , Mallorca and took the Iberia inter island to Mahon .Masks are mandatory on BA flights. There were temperature checks at Palma and it is mandatory to fill in the Spanish health form. spth.gob.es  The forms are given out in the plane if you haven’t done it online

Everything is open in Punta Prima except the hotels. Although I thought I saw signs of life in the Insotel Hotel It’s very quiet and the villas around us are empty. We maybe the only Brits here so far.A smattering of Germans. A few Spanish and obviously locals.  The beach is open but there are no sun beds or parasols available to rent.

Unfortunately due to a Spanish family testing positive to Covid in Ciutadella, from today it’s mandatory to wear masks in all public places except the beach.

Having said all this we are having a fantastic time. We had dinner in a restaurant last night which was amazing . The weather is glorious and everyone is extremely welcoming and delighted to see tourists finally after all this time. I’ve no complaints and am just so happy we managed to get here.
