Hi, I am returning to Menorca after 3 years of COVID travel restrictions. I am trying to find a good deal to hire a medium sized car. The prices seem to have leapt up since I was there last in 2019. Ideally I would collect at the airport but have previously taken shuttle buses to the rental locations. Any help gratefully received.
Prices shot up last year. Best value is “local” car hire companies eg AutosAmigos. Try looking on Everything Menorca (Facebook).
I have used Autos Amigo since 1986. Best on the island. Competitive rates (not necessarily the cheapest) and everything included. No taking of photos, just good old-fashioned honesty and trust, and ... their cars are located in the car park outside the Arrivals Hall. No shuttles, no rubbish like that. And you return the car to the same area and leave the keys in the car. Can't recommend them enough. Most of the homeowners I know have used them. Speak to Gail or John at [email protected]
