Hi, could someone tell me if a PCR test is needed to come to Menorca?  We are flying in on 3rd July from London Heathrow.    The latest news is we don't have to isolate on our return but will then have to get two Pcr tests here in the UK.

Thank you,

Zoe.

To fly into Menorca, at present all you need is to fill in the Spanish Health Form.

To fly back to the UK, you need to have an antigen test 72 hours before leaving Menorca plus you need to have booked PCR tests for 2nd and 8th day of 10 days self isolation on your return.  These need to be booked before your return to UK as the reference number has to be entered on your Passenger Locator Form which also needs completing before you leave Menorca.

Entry to Spain

From 24 May, entry restrictions and testing requirements for arrivals from the UK to Spain no longer apply. However, requirements may still apply if:

All passengers entering Spain are still required to complete a pre-travel declaration form. See Mandatory pre-travel declaration form for all passengers

PS. Amber list countries and territories

What you must do if you have been in an amber country or territory in the 10 days before you arrive in England.

You must follow these rules even if you have been vaccinated.

Before travel to England

Before you travel to England you must:

On arrival in England

On arrival in England you must:

  • quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days
  • take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8

Read about quarantine and taking COVID-19 tests.

Children aged 4 and under do not need to take the day 2 or day 8 test.

You may be able to end quarantine early if you pay for a private COVID-19 test through the Test to Release scheme

Keep your eye on gov.uk website and your ear on the news as things change all the time..

No PCR test inbound. Returning PCR can be gotten at Juaneda in Mahon. One of the 'better' testing companies in the UK is Testing For All, £99 for Day 2 + Day 8 tests.

All change! Only antigen test required for re-entry to the UK, so only €30. And only 1 precooked pcr test on Day 2. All from 31st June, until it changes ....

Small error I feel, but point taken.
