We are due to travel 14th June. Has anyone done this trip and can recommend where to buy Amber travel test kits.  Best prices are Boots £160 and Ryanair £180. Or if you have done this trip and can offer any advice.  Happy with testing Menorca end.

You’re welcome.  I didn’t think you had to have a pre test UK side before travel?  It’s all very confusing.   If you get a chance let me know how your trip goes.  Good luck and safe jour

This is airline demand and I think the Spanish Gov requires it.

Entry to Spain

From 24 May, entry restrictions and testing requirements for arrivals from the UK to Spain no longer apply. However, travellers from the UK should be prepared to present evidence of a negative test if they have travelled to a country on Spain’s list of ‘risk countries’ in the 14 days prior to travel. In some parts of Spain, a negative test is required when checking into tourist accommodation or when travelling to the islands from mainland Spain. See Testing requirements for arrivals from the UK for further information.

All passengers entering Spain will still be required to complete a pre-travel declaration form. Quarantine and testing on return to the UK continues to apply. See Returning to the UK.

Entry restrictions and testing requirements continue to apply for travel to Spain from ‘risk countries’. If you are travelling from a listed country, you should refer to the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in the country you are in for further advice.

Some travel restrictions and testing requirements are in place for international transit through Spanish airports by passengers on flights departing from the UK.

We flew in Luton to Mahon Friday June 4 with Easy Jet. Very smooth, nothing required UK airport or Airline.  On landing 5 mins through (so few passengers) passport and showed Spanish locator QR code.
We are long standing second home owners with animals! And kind Menorcan friends been caring for them . So glad to be here (double vaccinated in U.K.)

Wishing you all well ...

Hi. To fly back to England I  had a PCR done at Juanada the private hospital that's in mahon. I  paid 90 euros , at the time in may it was within 24 hours   971 35 11 15. If you buy one somewhere it can't be used for traveling.
