My laptop has died (I believe it has died due to it being left out in the rain in U.K. before we flew). Dried it out and turned it on this morning and was working. Now died and nothing. Can anyone recommend a repair shop or specialist. Staying at the Vibra Hotel apartments but have transport. 

Hello everyone, I'm Mark, and some time in the not too distant future my wife and I would like to reside in Menorca, (the reasons are blissfully apparent). We are both over 60 and the UK is not good for older bones.

Recently, however, there has been much in the press regarding a degree of hostility to 'brits' on Spanish soil, be they residents or tourists. Hence the 'is it safe'/Marathon Man reference.

Has anyone had any experience of any kind of 'hostility' from anyone, or is it more media hype???

Hi Everyone - I did see the other post on this subject some time ago so understand why secondhand cars are so expensive. We have a Villa over in Cala Blanca and looking to spend under 3,000 euros. Is anyone selling at the moment or suggestions on where to look on the island? Must have 5 seats and be in good working condition. Thanks Alex.

I am a photographer looking to move to Menorca from the UK on a permanent basis. I am looking for properties in and around Ciutadella. I have found a number of interesting places, but I am having difficulty working out how I can stay longer than the 90 days in 180 since bloody Brexit!!

I have spoken to a few lawyers in Menorca, and Spanish firms with UK offices. I have explored the Non Lucrative Visa, and Digital Nomad Visa. The non lucrative could work if I want to fully retire, but I'm only 60 years old, so would like at least the option to carry out occasional work in the UK, but as far as I can discern I can only receive a passive income. The Digital Nomad wouldn't work for me because, as a freelance photographer, (for over thirty five years), but I can't show guaranteed future work, as I receive commissions on an ad hoc basis.

The Golden visa is about to be withdrawn, so it's unlikely I could get that through before I find and purchase a property. Then there is the option of investing €500k in Spain, but I need advice as to where I would have to invest, for how long, and the tax implications.

I absolutely love Menorca, and know it's by far and away the best place for me to move to, but it seems every option I look at is either not relevant, or has unknowns.

Does anyone here know of anyone that has managed this or could reliably advise as to my best course of action?

Hi I have been given conflicting information with regards to whether or not my wife is able to use her UK blue badge to park in disabled bays in Menorca. Can anyone local please confirm either way?
