my partner and i are looking for someone to support us with our Residency application. We are based in Ciutadella area. We know the documents we need, and have a Notary in UK for certification, apostilling, & checking documents, but need someone here to make us appointment with Consulate in UK and then later with Immigration office here, recommendations welcome from anyone with good experience of being supported well through this themselves, or know someone else who has been,

I lost on Saturday my gold wedding ring. The inside is engraved "Sarah à Alex 12 & 19 juin 2004"
It's either in Cala Blanes or in Cala Cavallerria

Hi everyone
My laptop has died (I believe it has died due to it being left out in the rain in U.K. before we flew). Dried it out and turned it on this morning and was working. Now died and nothing. Can anyone recommend a repair shop or specialist. Staying at the Vibra Hotel apartments but have transport.

Hello everyone, I'm Mark, and some time in the not too distant future my wife and I would like to reside in Menorca, (the reasons are blissfully apparent). We are both over 60 and the UK is not good for older bones.
Recently, however, there has been much in the press regarding a degree of hostility to 'brits' on Spanish soil, be they residents or tourists. Hence the 'is it safe'/Marathon Man reference.
Has anyone had any experience of any kind of 'hostility' from anyone, or is it more media hype???

Hi Everyone - I did see the other post on this subject some time ago so understand why secondhand cars are so expensive. We have a Villa over in Cala Blanca and looking to spend under 3,000 euros. Is anyone selling at the moment or suggestions on where to look on the island? Must have 5 seats and be in good working condition. Thanks Alex.
