Clare Henderson is NOT a lawyer, she only used to work in a lawyer's office in Mahon. Please look at attached link from the British Consulate ref English lawyers in Menorca. Most based in Mahon. We can personally reccommend Fernando Caballero or Christina Monjo.

Yes she has paralegal training. You do not need a lawyer to buy or sell a property in Spain. If you are familiar with the procedures like her it is straightforward. You will pay a lot more for a "lawyer" to act for you

You do not pay a lot more! Besides, you can always ask for a quote. Would you rather have someone who is trained in Spanish Law (as we are talking about Spanish Property Law) instead of someone who worked as a clerk/receptionist in a solicitor firm. Tread carefully, Fiona.

Clare Henderson did our property puchase, flawless. We recomended her to friends who have bought and again it worked well.Clearly you don not like her. I would use her again without a second thought.

It is not a matter of liking her or not. When something goes wrong, lawyers are registered with the Colegio de Abogados, like the Law Society in UK. More so,
if you are a foreigner buying property in Spain, stick to a registered lawyer. But perhaps you are a friend of Clare.
