Hello there,

am currently in total limbo post Brexit. Still waiting to get  a response from Residency Application from back in January although I have been checking it's progress and I'm "en processo" . My main concern is not having a doctor or point of referral if I'm sick. I also want to get jabbed against the Covid just in case I need to be in the UK urgently. I have businesses in London and my Mum is getting older. Can any one suggest a way to get vaccinated in Mahon. And whether I can get a local doctor. I only have private medical cover for emergencies at the mo.

I was also told to go to the town hall to inform them that I am living here but apparently they need the original of my NIE from way back in 2007. I only have a picture of the original which was lost a long time ago. Can anyone help me out? I don't seem to be getting anywhere on my own at the moment. Many thanks in advance.

Hi John, to get the original of your nie, one option is to make an appointment at the tax office (hacienda) in the port at Mahon, they should have it all in record there.

You can go along to the hospital in Mahon and ask about the vaccine for extranjeros, they should be able to help or offer adv
