We are bringing our miniature schnauzer to the island for the Summer so are looking for advise on a friendly vet who can administer the obligatory tapeworm treatment before we travel back to UK at the end of August.

I can highly recommend Tolo and Ursula at Clinica Cardona & von Hofe 971 366009 & Mob: 0034 633213294. They are based on the polygono on the front road that runs parallel with the main road which runs from Mahon to Ciutadella. I have used them for 30 years, travelling backwards and forwards with our dogs.
