It depends what sort of shops you are wanting and where.
In Mahon town centre a few shops (mostly tourist shops) now stay open all day but others will be closed in the afternoon varying from 1.30 - 2 pm.
If you are looking for supermarkets on the Polygono, they will be open all day except during Fiestas when they close early. Pallisers (DIY etc) are open from 9.30 - 1.30 pm.
