Could any one. Please recommend a security company they use for home security? Do most people rely on security alarm systems? Cctv etc or employ a security firm to monitor properties?
Thanks for any information/ help

How long do the batteries last on average , I know this would depend on how much they are recording etc . I presume you then monitor on your mobile  phone , what would you do if you noticed anything untoward ?

Batteries last up to 2 years. You get a notification on your cellphone, which also records the intrusion. You would obviously have to then 'phone your Villa Management or the local police (112). At least the intrusion is on record. Not perfect. There are local companies on the island that do the sort of 'linked to a control room' that we are all familiar with.
