Hi.
I'm looking into moving over to Menorca. My child is a teenager so I just wondered if anybody has any advise on schools etc?
She is into Drama and Beauty and is a little concerned about leaving her clubs and friends behind.
Are there any schools she could attend and any activities or clubs for teenagers? They don't necessarily have to be in Cala en Porter. Just wondering what is available to her on the island?

Hi, I’m a mum to my recently turned 7 year old. I have thought about moving to menorc for a while now and would appreciate any advice on how to move here. I would love to buy a property preferably and would appreciate any advice on how to do that and schools etc. I would be looking to work but have been told by another female expat most work for women is low paid. I don’t mind as long as I can pay bills and live comfortably. I am currently studying accountancy back home in UK and wondering if this is something I could do or would the language barrier make it more difficult. My Spanish is minimal but I am a fast learner and would take Spanish lessons if living here. Any and all advice welcome......My main concerns would be schooling for my daughter, work (my partner is a gas engineer/ plumber but also does gardening so would be able to both) i am open to all types of work, and lastly the joy of being able to get a mortgage. Hi there, my husband and I are looking to relocate to Menorca ( Cala en Porter ) in the very near future so would be very grateful for any tips and advice. Things like utility bills and property tax ( council tax ) costs would be very helpful as would any other advice. We are looking to buy a property without a mortgage and will be viewing when we come out in June and again in September. We look forward to any tips and help on anything about relocating.
