Does anyone know if there is a need for hvac tradespeople over in menorca?

Hello, I have just stumbled across this amazing page!

I am looking for some advice From family’s who have made the move to Menorca. Anything  would be really helpful.

My family and I have been visiting the beautiful island of Menorca for over 14 years mainly to Cala Galdana. and are now seriously considering a move. 

Only problem is that we are a little unsure as to make a permanent move, sell up in the uk and take the leap of faith!! 

This would mean buying a property and trying to work. Ideally we were thinking of either buying a property to live in and another to rent or buying a property in two and renting half during the summer. But after researching I know rules in Menorca can make this tricky! It would be really Interested to hear from anyone who has successfully done this. Or another option is to buy move and work in our professions. I have worked in childcare for 18 years both as an early years teacher/ childminder and a forest school teacher. My husband owns a domestic/commercial oven cleaning company. But neither of us would be opposed to other work. My husband original profession is as a furniture maker but can put his hand to anything from painting decorating to gardening. 
we also have two children ( four in total but two are now adults and have their own loves) our two youngest daughters are 11and seven so any information on schooling would also be much appreciated. Also the best areas for a British family to move to. Thank you so much I’m advance for any information anyone can offer. Katrina

My partner and myself are looking to move to Menorca in the near future. We can buy outright a small place but would still like to work. I have worked as a chef and maNaged and run food companies too. My partner has extensive experience in beauty. Are there jobs available for people with our skill sets??
