I have been given 1 x  €500 & 3 x €200  euro notes from my father in law who lives in Austria . We are coming out on holiday to Calan Bosch next week . Are we able to change then in a bank in Ciutadella to lower denominations ?

on my trip our the island i lost somewhere my red case with glasses-sun ones and with yellow headphones (Beats flex). I went the Camí de Cavalls. I think i lost them somewhere from Sant Tomas to Mitjana or in Ciutadella or in the north coast (la Vall to Fornells). I would be very grateful if you let me know, if you've seen the case or you'll. Please I'm new in here  but me and my husband hope to rent a cheap 1 bedroom flat apartment in citradella or something on menorca.  But hope to find a monthly rent we have no children no pets. But would like to be central.   We live in Minehead Somerset renting  we have been married 4 years   we stayied in calagadana and loved it so much   it just got us thinking this would be where we want to retire to   thankyou.  All for menorca kind X pat's. thanks to all those who replied to my post a couple of years ago, we took the plunge and are in the middle of applying for this, with the support of a spanish lawyer in Barcelona who is guiding us through, feels like a bit of an obstacle course to say the least, but we've been progressng until now; we need to get a medical health check, we live in Brighton and are happy to go to London.  Has anyone reading this had to do this, and what was your experience like?  we are trying to work out if any additional tests may be required on top of the standard appointment/check up.  We are both in good health, no medical conditions, in our early 60's.   Also if anyone can share the name of a good and reasonable private medical insurance policy?   I remember Shona you mentioned AXA and that you had to pay for whole year in advance..........

I met Diana on a train between Manchester and Leeds in 2014. She and her sister had recently inherited a finca on Menorca from their mother who had both American and British passports.
